Perdizes is located in the West Zone of the city. It has the third highest HDI in the capital, just behind the neighborhoods of Moema and Pinheiros. It is predominantly residential and known for its hills, which, despite taking the breath away of those who venture to walk by the neighborhood, is part of the charm of the place.
Although Perdizes is quite residential, there are many cultural and leisure activities that can be found in the neighborhood. In addition to the broad local shops located at Cardoso de Almeida and Turiaçu streets, the neighborhood also has Shopping Bourbon, a mall with more than two hundred stores and a theater.
For the more sporty ones, the neighborhood has the Avenida Sumaré cycle path, which serves both for bike rides and for walks. For those who prefer parks, Perdizes has the Parque da Água Branca, which curiously has some birds such as chickens and peacocks walking around, making the tour a must for children. Fans of Palmeiras football team have the privilege of watching games next to their homes, as Allianz Parque is located in the neighborhood. In addition to football matches, Allianz Parque is also one of the main venues for major concerts in the country.
